Delta Trading and Distribution is a distributor for international marine, mining and construction equipment including Perkins Engines, Perkins Saber Marine, MAK, Metso Minerals and SEM brands in Africa, Asia and Russia, whilst also establishing several subsidiary companies in the countries in which it operates for maximum efficiency.

For 80 years, Caterpillar has been manufacturing world-class construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, and industrial gas turbines. In partnership with Mantrac since 1977, Caterpillar started out by bringing its expertise in the industrial equipment business to Egypt. After much success and strategic planning by Mantrac , Caterpillar expanded under Mansour to operate in Africa, Asia and Russia and is currently present in 10 countries. Mantrac is one of the largest Caterpillar dealers in the Middle East and Africa, with a total market share for construction and mining equipment of 50% and 22% market share for powers systems. Currently the company employs 3,300 people and has invested heavily in a network of 47 branches and facilities across all territories to support its customers with a long term view.
