GM Factory - Egypt
Mansour became the authorized GM dealer in 1975, and the founding of Mansour Automotive Company soon followed. By 1985, GM established the first private automotive manufacturing plant in Egypt, which began by assembling and manufacturing commercial vehicles, followed by passenger cars, light and medium duty trucks, buses, and sport utility vehicles. Over the past 35 years, it has achieved astounding results. GM E has consistently obtained number one in the Egyptian market with a 25% market share for total car sales over the last two years, has produced over 397,000 vehicles and now employs almost 1,300 employees.
